Our Lollipop signature products are made with all-natural and organic ingredients. 

Are your polishes non-toxic?

While our solvent-based polishes are "5-free" formulations, they are not free of all chemicals. If you’re looking for a completely clean option for nail polish we recommend trying our favorite water-based non-toxic nail polish by Keeki Naturals. Please keep in mind that water-based polishes do not typically last as long as solvent-based polishes. 

What does "5-free" mean?  

“5-free” is a term used to define nail polish formulations that are made without the five toxic ingredients identified in most traditional polishes: formaldehyde, toluene, DBP, formaldehyde resin and camphor. Since nails are porous — especially when wet, this can lead to polish ingredients leeching into our bodies via our fingernails, toenails, cuticles and the surrounding skin. All of our polishes at Lollipop Nail Studio are at least "5-free and do not contain any of these toxic ingredients, making them safe for both children and adults.

Do you remove acrylics?  

While we don’t offer acrylic based nail enhancements at our studio, we do offer removal as an add-on or deluxe removal service.

Are all your products vegan?

While a majority of our products are vegan, two of the products used in our most popular services are non-vegan: Our Goats' Milk Soak and cuticle softener contains lanolin, which is oil from sheep’s wool. All our nail polishes are vegan as well as our hand-made Hippie Hippie Shake service products. If you are vegan, we recommend booking those treatments for your service. Our vegan products use non-gmo soy milk powder and apple cider vinegar as replacements for the non-vegan elements in our signature products. 

How are your products cleaned and sterilized?

After each service, we clean our stainless-steel tools in a three-step process. First, we clean with soap and water to remove debris. Then, they are then placed in a disinfectant solution of Barbicide. Finally, the tools are placed in a medical-grade sterilizing autoclave. The files, buffers, orangewood sticks and toe separators are single use and disposed of after each service. You are also welcome to take them home if you wish.

I'm allergic to tree nuts...

While we love almond oil for its moisturizing quality, we understand that some people may be allergic. Since we hand make all of our products in house, we are able to customize a product to fit your needs based on ingredients you are allergic or sensitive to. Please let us know if you need any accommodations to our signature products. We offer alternatives such as jojoba or apricot kernel oils. 

Do I need an appointment? 

We recommend making an appointment in advance so that we can accommodate the service you request. Walk-ins are always welcomed, but not guaranteed.

Please call us to cancel your appointment, or if after hours of operation please text us at 714-361-0258. Please note we do require 24hrs notice to cancel any/ all services scheduled without charge, if under 24hrs we do charge 100% of the service(s) scheduled. Do you have a late policy? 

We totally understand that people run late! If you find yourself running behind, please call us to ensure we can still accommodate your appointment time. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate late appointments exceeding 15 minutes. Additionally, when booking a service, please allow an additional 10 to 15 minutes to find parking prior to your appointment. (Please take a moment to read our cancellation policy located on the Cancellation Policy page)

On average, how long does a typical service take?

Our service times range anywhere from 30 minutes to 1 hour and 30 minutes, depending on which service(s) you have booked. If you’re in a hurry or need something in a pinch, we do offer the “Go-Go” version of our services. 

Can I request my favorite nail technician? 

Yes, you can! When booking an appointment, please indicate which nail technician you would like to perform your service. If they are available, we are happy to accommodate your preference. 

Can I request nail art? 

Yes! When booking an appointment, please let us know you are interested in this add-on service so we can ensure we have the appropriate nail technician and so we are able to provide plenty of time for this service during your appointment. 

Can I bring my pet with me?

Although we love our furry, four-legged friends we, unfortunately, do not allow them inside the salon out of respect to our clients and staff who may have allergies. Service dogs with “Service Animal” vests are permitted.
